CMA Classes in Coimbatore

FOUNDATION COURSE:
Eligibility criteria for CMA Foundation:
  • A candidate should have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
  • Passed Senior Secondary Examination under 10+2 scheme of a recognized Board or an Examination recognized by the Central Government as equivalent thereto
  • Any Candidate who has passed the Foundation examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India will be exempted from Foundation Course & vice versa.
  • Any Candidate who has passed the Intermediate Examination (by whatever name called) conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will be exempted from Foundation Course.

Admission must be at least (4) four months prior to the commencement of Examination.

There are 4 papers in CMA Foundation course:

Paper 1: Fundamentals of Economics and Management

Paper 2: Fundamentals of Accounting

Paper 3: Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics

Paper 4: Fundamentals of Business Mathematics & Statistic

Cut-Off Date for Admission to Foundation Course:

For June term examination - 31st January of the same calendar year

For December term examination -31st July of the same calendar year

A student is required to get a minimum of 40 marks in each paper (not subject) and an aggregate of 50% in all the papers of a group together to qualify in the group.

Provisional Admission: Students may also seek provisional admission to the foundation course. Such students would be provided a time period of 36 (thirty six) months to convert from Provisional to Regular Status.

INTERMEDIATE COURSE:
Eligibility criteria for CMA Intermediate:
  • A candidate should have passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
  • Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts.
  • Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the Institute.
  • Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the Institute.
  • Passed Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICAI by what ever name called along with 10+2.
Provisional Registration:

Candidates awaiting results of degree examinations may also apply for provisional admission. Such students would be provided a time period of 18 (eighteen) months to convert from Provisional to Regular Status.

There are 8 papers in CMS Intermediate.

Cut-Off Date for Registration to Intermediate Course:

For June term examination -31st January of the same calendar year

For December term examination -31st July of the same calendar year

Group 1:

Paper 5: Financial Accounting

Paper 6: Laws, Ethics and Governance

Paper 7: Direct Taxation

Paper 8: Cost accounting and financial management

Group 2:

Paper 9: Operation Management Information System

Paper 10: Cost and Management Accounting

Paper 11: Indirect Taxation

Paper 12: Company Accounts & Audit

Computer Training Students shall have to undergo compulsory Computer Training for 100 hours. Until otherwise eligible to claim exemption from undergoing this training.

Training on “Communication and Soft Skills” FOR INTERMEDIATE STUDENTS-

The Scheme for the 3-day Training Programme for Communication and Soft Skills shall be on the following lines:

Day 1 Oral Communication.

Day 2 Written Communication and Goal Setting.

Day 3 Time Management; Getting ready for Examination; Group discussion, Presentation and other Soft Skills.

FINAL COURSE:
Eligibility criteria for CMA Final:
  • Only the candidates who have passed Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India are eligible for admission to Final Course.
  • Copy of Intermediate Pass Mark sheet is to be furnished along with the Admission Form.
  • Enrolment must be at least 4 (four) months prior to the commencement of Examination

For December term examination -31st July of the same calendar year

Paper 13: Corporate Laws & Compliance

Paper 14: Strategic Financial Management

Paper 15: Strategic Cost Management – Decision Making

Paper 16: Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation

Group 4:

Paper 17: Corporate Financial Reporting

Paper 18: Indirect Tax Laws & Practice

Paper 19: Cost & Management Audit

Paper 20: Strategic Performance Management and Business Valuation

A student enrolled in Final Course under the Syllabus 2016 has to undergo Coaching, Industry Oriented Training Programme and Practical Training.

Practical Training: A Student has to undergo 3 years Practical Training.

However, a student needs to undergo 6 months Practical Training before appearing in both or remaining group of Final Examination.

Duration of Orientation Training Programme is 15 days (covering a period of 90 hours). Students enrolled in Final Course under Syllabus 2016 shall have to undergo and complete Orientation Training Programme after qualifying the Final Examinations.
